As kids we tend to have a million and one questions, interests, thoughts, and aspirations.

Unfortunately, many of us were not encouraged to go after those things we questioned or were interested in. We may have even been actively discouraged because they thought our vision "wasn't realistic".

The adults in our lives had their own experiences with this when they were children, so they thought they were helping us when they said things like:

-"you’re being too nosy"

-"are you sure that really happened?"

-"you should just be seen and not heard"

-"you can’t make a career out of that"

Maybe you can relate to the kid that feels like no one understands them, and they eventually become the "loner". That kid could've used someone like you to help fan their flames of passion, but instead someone extinguished those flames and called it "helping".

𝘽𝙀𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘸𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘴 𝘬𝘪𝘥𝘴 simply means to encourage those around you. 𝐄𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 those from younger generations. (There are many from older generations that had the same experience — show them some love too!)

Give those around you the encouragement, the resources, the time, and/or the listening ear that you may have needed when you were a kid. Then watch as you help the world become a better place, right before your eyes.
